'The entire team of HLD was waiting with bated breath for the 10th of feb, the global premier of MNIK in Abu Dhabi, we all went there with a lot of enthusiasm, excitement and hope . Hope to meet our favorite start Shah Rukh Khan. well!! yes!! we all are a die hard fan of SRK.
An one - on- one interview with Kajol was confirmed but not SRK, the organizers said we can get an exclusive bite from SRK on the red carpet. I have interview SRK 4 times before and he is such a pleasure to talk to , I just love the enegy he has, he is just so full of life and positivity.
So here we were waiting on the red carpet for hours, which was supposed to be covered by three media companies, 2 news papers and HLD. But the scene was different when we went on the red carpet, we had media from almost all over the world cramped in a small place, complete mayhem. On the other side there were 100s of people waiting and screaming just to get a glimpse of SRK.
After waiting for hours, Kajol and K jo turned up on the red carpet, they stopped and talked to most of the media people including me , we spoke about the film and about Kajol''s saree. She very predictably wearing a manish malhotra Saree and looked stunning.
Suddenly we heard a big scream and there he was the King Khan as they call him. WoW!! by then media and people went on a state of uncontrolled excitement, total frenzy. By the time SRk came to me it was madness, I could hardly ask one question , he started by saying I love "your MIC, its very cool......." he left in a few seconds, coz it was getting impossible for him to stand there. After interviewing George Cloony, Morgan freeman, Nicholas cage , Salma hayek, Goldie Hawn and many many more on the red carpet , this was the 1st time i was experincing such madness...All for none other than our own Shah Rukh Khan.
and here i was getting pushed from all the sides, and before i realised I was completley squashed and pushed and in a few seconds had fallen on the ground. OMG!! this was the worst nightmare come into reality. I was too shocked to react , this was like an out of body experinece for me, could not imagine it was happening to me.
In 5 years of my TV career this was the 1st time something like this had happened.
I could not see the movie as had to rush to take kajol''s interview.
I was still hopeful of getting SRK''s one on one interview and tried my best but well!! i did not . In the process got verbally abused by the

I did come back with a heavy heart and probably not go next time to interview him ( simply to avoid this disappointment) but I still remain a big FAN of SRK.
