'Went all the way to Abu Dhabi yesterday with a lot of expectation from the event, but unfortunately it wasn''t as buzzing as i had expected it to be...... We covered three fashion shows. DAS collection, Rami Al Ali and Manish Malhotra DAS is a brand  launched by two Emrati sisters very recently. They mainly design Abayas. Designed were good and must say they made abayas look glam. But they themselves behaved like big Bollywood celebrities to give an interview. Such behavior from designers really makes me wonder why in the 1st place do they participate in a fashion show if they don''t want to be available to media. Isnt the whole idea is to promote the brand through maximum media coverage??? Rami Al Ali''s designs according to the concept were fresh and girly. Love some of the pieces and would def. like to wear . Rami himself looked great in his extremely smart suit. Followed by Manish Malhotra, with his sarees and sexy blouses , he did steal the show. Manish is my favourite not only coz he amazingly talented, but also coz he is a great guy, energetic, spirited and warm. Way to go manish, You rock.
